About Me
When my youngest child started school, I decided it was time to apply for a Master's degree. My life began changing dramatically on many levels and I finally felt that I had the chance to achieve my goal. I earned my Master's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from George Mason University. My concentration was titled " The Narrative Approach to Personality".
Next I completed professional life coaching training where I obtained certification in coaching essentials, competencies, practice, and mastery, in addition to certification as a professional life coach.
In my graduating thesis I described my academic journey as follows: "My journey toward my academic achievement ignited waves of self-growth, soul enlightenment, and mindfulness. The diversity of subjects that I had the privilege to enjoy as a part of my interdisciplinary program of study introduced me to the fields of multicultural education, anthropology, sociology, and nutrition, and upgraded my knowledge in the field of positive psychology. The insightful awareness that resulted from my resurgence on many levels was akin to pieces of a mysterious puzzle that re-emerged into my life. My sincere commitment to continuously integrating compassion, conscious awareness, and mindfulness into my daily routine led back to the basis, searching for the origins of my beliefs and reconsidering personal schemas."
By achieving my early education and career dreams later in my life, I proved to myself that it is never too late to start over. As a result of this experience I was able to work on transforming myself into becoming an active agent, designing her life-plan instead of merely participating in it.
Each of us carries a wealth of hidden and unused potential within. In my coaching practice, I look forward to partnering with my clients in a journey toward uncovering their hidden talents and achieving their goals in all areas of life, using methodologies developed through academic training and professional experience.
